Neil Gaiman and the Good Icons

SCRIBBLES ON SET OF GOOD OMENS

I was lucky enough to visit the set of Good Omens during filming with my trusty stump of burnt wood and a big bag full of paper. I was there at The Globe Theatre (the actual real one) and Aziraphale’s Soho Book shop the day it burnt down (the pretend one somewhere in a field in Bovingdon).

The sketches were included in the limited edition Good Omens Script Book.

(Neil has signed each drawing in charcoal since they were photographed here, very good-naturedly allowing himself to be micromanaged by an artist most insistent that his signature be situated in the most compositionally pleasing place on each page. (Er, yes that artist was me. I had helpful post-it-notes and everything.) They are available to purchase in the BUY section.)
